Pete Kasprzak - www.seewhatinspires.me

Well known for his urban art, Pete Kasprzak has now extended his creativity to create a clothing line. His art consists of urban scenery that has caught the eye of many including: Starbucks, The Art Gallery of Hamilton, and a well-known publisher who has sold his work to HomeSense and Sears.

His art was also recently scouted by the Elaine Fleck Gallery, which he has been added to her Art catalog. Pete Kasprzak has turned his urban photography to graphics that are wearable. By combining his own photos and his illustration skills, he has collaborated both to make a few sample T-Shirts which are catching on... I know I'm getting at least a few.

As I don't get to update this blog enough, I've decided to bring in some hardcore fans of Down With Webster to help fill the gaps. Team DWW is a collection of 3 girls from Toronto who love Down With Webster who know way more than I do about what's new and are always front row at every concert.

This just popped up on the Much Music website a little while ago, footage of last nights crazy performance by Down With Webster. Unfortunately they won't let me embed it so you going to have to go check out their link right here: http://www.muchmusic.com/artists/2281/down-with-webster/videos/

Their performance was pretty epic! Fire works on cue to Pats guitar... pretty bauce if you ask me. Kinda sucked that you couldn't really hear Buck throughout the song but I dunno if that was just the TV feed or what. People who were actually there will have to get back to me and let me know if they could hear everything. The boys killed it as usual though. Definitely a good look for DWW. If you keep watching after there is a bunch of pre-MMVA footage and interviews with Cam, Buck and Ty. Check it out.

In other good/bad news, Ticketmaster is now sold out of Light The Night tickets! I haven't checked the other stores but they are prolly all sold out too. Sucks if you waited but hey... you can always buy my press pass... bidding starts at $2000 ...totally kidding, wouldn't miss this one guys :p

Who knows, if you're in the front row you'll prolly see me snapping some shots.

Wear White!

This month will be a good one for Torontonian D Dub fans. About 5 days after a nationally brodcast live performance @ the Much Music Video awards, Down With Webster will be throwing a jam @ the Sound Academy June 25th, 2010.

DWW and Sound Academy go together like ice cream and fat kids and in the last two shows  that they have been here they have torn the effing place down. Something about the atmosphere at Sound Academy... huge stage, nice big pit for me to take pictures and get hit by crowd surfers in, great sound and lighting, huge capacity... just plain sickkk.

Anyway, we still have no word if there will be anyone cool opening for them or if they'll be releasing any new tunes but I'll keep you posted as soon as I know.

Recently nominated for two MMVA's, Favorite New Group & Best Pop Video, Down With Webster is set to perform at this years MMVA's! This is a pretty big achievement for the boys of DWW as they will have just returned from their 40 day tour across the states with Cute Is What We Aim For.

I'm definitely looking forward to a serious live performance... it's what they do best! Get ready for about 4000 screaming girls waiting in line at Much Music the day (and probably night before) they give out wristbands (June 12th btw )

Other performances include Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, Marianas Trench and Miley Cyrus (who will also be co-hosting).

Should be a good show! Stay tuned for more information on Down With Websters next performance at the Sound Academy too!
